It does get a bit painful if you play it too long - they always have some kind of knee problem and some are complete whackos by the time they retire because they've lost so many brain cells from tackles. But there's not too much contact in the sport... or maybe there is sometimes... I don't know how to describe it...

You should see David (my bf)'s knee. He has a massive scar on it from something he did a few years ago and occasionally it gives out on him...

I only have two big scars. And their not even from cool stuff, like playing sports. The one on my leg is a dent which happened when I tryed to dance up the stairs with a granny dress on my head. The one on my face if from a cat jumping off a roof and landing on my head with it's claws out at a llama farm. Sigh... you have no idea the torment I go through...
"yeah I got this scar when I jumped out of a the car window to save a turtle!"
"oh yeah? Well I got mine from donating my kidneys"

I don't really have any scars - just a few small white ones, there's one on my left hand, one on my right leg just below my knee and one behind my left knee... not much, really

you can't really see my scar because even though it's big and on my face, I have a tan (yay! only good thing about FL's beaches!) so it's freckleish and red-ie brown. But if you perposly look for it. It's there.

All I really have is this scar which is just below my right kneecap, about two and a half centimetres long. It's the same colour as my skin, just a little raised, so normally it's not all that easy to see, and you wouldn't notice it if you didn't know it was there. I did it when I was three - cut my leg on a nail.

Oh yeah...
Hey! Now I have an injury story to tell!
Last night I spilt quite a lot of scalding hot gravy on my inner left wrist and it really really hurt. It stang all of last night but when I woke up in the morning the stinging was gone and it was just sensitive to touch. I went to the school nurse, and she put some soothing cream stuff on it and wrapped it in gauze, so now I'm getting a lot of "Oh my God... are you okay? What happened?" sort of things. It's this ugly red mark which I'm hoping is going to fade. I'm just happy that it doesn't hurt to play guitar any more
