Please feed the Pikin...
Hi!I'm Pikin!
I used to live here once upon a time in a different incarnation (a prize for anyone who can guess who!), then those nasty things called exams got in the way and its only now that I've found the procrastination haven of uni that I'm able to restart the love affair with the guide I once knew.
What, I hear you ask, is a Pikin? Well it is a strange breed, the only example of which currently inhabits a small room of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, but can also be found in an even smaller room in the backstreets of Loughborough. A small, bouncy, slightly peculiar creature, it is a cross between a parrot and a chicken (leading to the varient spelling of Picken), and characteristics of both can be seen in it. It's diet consists mainly of chocolate and coffee, although the latter can have adverse effects when consumed in large quantities. When not sleeping or pining for the fjords, the Pikin occupies its time checking emails obsessively, talking to the other animals that inhabit this land, and occasionally translating strange languages into other strange languages for no particular reason. The Pikin is a very friendly animal, which only bites when provoked and rarely draws blood.
