No hangover, just tired from not getting enough sleep. Didn't do too much, sat down and chatted online and had a few beers.
I'd forgotten all about the head and feet till you mentioned it then
Having a band look like they're enjoying themselves is good and helps lift the crowd to. I remember seeing Cornershop at womad a few years back. They looked misrable.
Encores are good as well

i can hardly keep my eyes open today - i'e alrady had a series of very boring meeting - fighting sleep all the way, really looking forward to doing nothing this weekend - what about you, got any plans?

Going to see a mate who's just bought a house. I'm not looking forward to driving over there as I'm very tired
Suppose I should get more sleep
Still what can you do
Hot Shots II
weegie Posted Aug 17, 2001
i could suggest some drugs
but really the only ones i know make you sleepy and chilled - why would you want to take somthing that makes you hyper? - nope that just doesn't make sense to me

I think it'll just be lots of caffine before and during the journey. And a break for dinner somewhere as well.
Something to make you hyper... No can't see any sense in that either.

caffine doesn't really have any effect on me (neither does speed) except to give me wicked indegestion - haven't touched the stuff for years now. life moves too fast for me these days

So do I.
I've found out where I'm supposed to be going tonight, Worcester to the beer fest. It'll probably be last orders by the time I arrive after driving up there!

bummer, although gets you out the house
I've no idea where worcester is - i'm from scotland - the geography of england is one huge homogenous blob!
whatever you do this weekend - have fun

I think it'll be fun
Have fun yourself
Worcester is a bit further down and across to the west than Birmingham, but not much.

It sort of went like;
Friday arrive too late at the beer fest to drink (I got there at about 10:45 after driving for about 2.5 hrs). I didn't really feel like drinking anyway after the drive.
Saturday get a couple of hours drinking at the beer fest - not much left by the time we left. Go at a bbq and continue drinking till about midnight. Find a corner to go to sleep in!
Sunday have hangover Eventually drive back to London and arrive back at about 11pm (I set of at about 8:30) and go to bed.
How was your weekend?

not as exciting as yours
friday night got completely mashed with my friend and my brother, satuday had a long lie in till about 1 then went to the gym, came home really sore (i'm not suffering too much now) then went out to a birthday party. got there about an hour after the start time (i thought an hour was enough) first to arrive, but i did have the pleasure of watching george really stress out about no one coming (the reason why there's so few parties the fear that no one will come, oh that and you turn into your mother when they arrive) but the party was alright, all his friends are big drinkers, something i'm not so i had to keep slipping out on to the stairs for a fag or a joint.
sunday, did nothing except read the papers. it's been chucking it down with rain for the past oh... for what seems like forever.. here, nice though i love watching the rain (from the safe distance of inside)

Sunday was another BBQ at my mates new place. There was four people other than him and his girlfriend (me, a friend and his sister and her hub). I waited till everyone had arrived before leaving.
Today it's quite nice and sunny here
I do love listening to rain when I'm indoors though. I find it can be quite relaxing.

so you didn't stay at the party for very long?
people call me a freak (amongst other things) because I sleep with the radio on - tuned off station, so all you get is white noise it sounds kinda like the rain; the deeper the bass, the deeper the sleep. wonderful, i've not had a nights insomnia in over a decade!
Hot Shots II
Solsbury Posted Aug 20, 2001
It wasn't much of a party
Sleeping with the radio tuned to static. Perhaps I should try it sometime.

it definately works, well for me anyway, if i'm bored and there's nothing to read/watch/whatever, i can turn on the radio and go for an hour's kip in the middle of the afternoon.
d'u suffer from imsomnia?

No but I probably need to get a little more sleep than I have been doing recently!
