The only time I see television actors/characters is when they get transferred to the movie screen . Who knew "The Simpsons" was going to run as long as it did? I saw it a few times when it first came on. That was decades ago....

I think "The Simpsons" is fantastic. Without doubt the best animated series on teevision. The characters are so brilliantly created and the voice actors are all extremely good and quite talented when you think they each do several different voices. It's also one of the longest running animated series ever created, running from 1988 or 1989 depending on which source you read. Seventeen or eighteen years it has been running, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ran for another seventeen or eighteen years!

The good news is there is a movie of "The Simpsons" coming out next year, which they are producing at the moment. So that should definitely be worth checking out.
