i have written a poem for you all:

The city in which I live, is full of illusions,

The lies that lie in the smile of a business man,

The fake chuckle in his laugh, as he enters his building, a tower of wealth,

Today he will play with millions,

Millions of pounds.......... Millions of lives.

Outside of his window life continues,

You can see the heat rising,

Steaming the narrow aperture I look from,

Outside there is opportunity, inside I face only walls,

Locked doors, with missing keys,

Never ending darkness and never ending failure.

While the business man returns home to his idealistic family,

A loving wife, content children,

I return home to nothing, no one,

Only to the horror of silence and abandonment.

My parents consider my problems the bottom of their priorities,

My existence a heavy chain they have to bear,

My life a prison sentence on their play.

I have so much hate and envy inside,

And so much compassion to fulfill my nightmares,

And bewitch the dreams that withhold me.

every night, the tightness of the clutch, pulling me away from all reality,

The speed at which I drown, all consciousness drifts away,

In the deepness i feel uncertainty and fear.

But in this fear lies hope, a revelation,

The dream i wish to live.
