tsarina Posted May 16, 2005
I'm good too ....weather over the w/e was a little changeable but good on the whole
I spent the whole w/e doing a lot of nothing mostly I had half a headache most of the w/e, if that makes sense???

yeah I know what you mean...just a dull ache and you don't feel like doing anything...plus I guess with the house you are sort of marking time? mustn't help

tsarina Posted May 17, 2005
No it sure doesn't and it's a worrying time too cos if the house sale doesn't go thro then there will be problems ......still am trying not to think about that until or if it happens!

It's a beautiful day and the weekend looks like it will be the same!!
Me and mine are fine; well...normal family with teen-agers
How are you and the new house?
Naughty boys
tsarina Posted Jul 7, 2005
I'm good thanx and the new house is coming along nicely.....bit slow with the unpacking and finding places for everything but getting there
It's very hot and humid over here and not very pleasant but we're told to expect a hot and sunny August....will believe that if and when it happens
Sad day for us today over here.......guess you've heard all about the bombings in London?

The Mayan Templar Posted Jul 7, 2005
yes regular TV was interrupted last night our time...it is very sad, but there seemed to be some good news...people getting on in spite of it and Ken Livingston's and Tony Blair's speechs were the right thing...we have to create a strong community in multi-culturalism so these destructive bozos are marginalised
tragic as it was this is nowhere near Sept11...which is sort of heartening
Glad you are moving on with your life after being stalled for so long in the old house

the good old British 'stiff upper lip' wins every time......they won't be allowed to disrupt everyday life over here no matter what they do.......used to be called the 'Dunkirk Spirit' during the war
It was nowhere near as bad as Sept 11th thank god but still a tragedy all the same ......no'one should have to die in the name of religion.....altho I'm not sure religion has anything to do with it anymore, if it ever did!!!

"British Bulldog" one of our politicians called it...
As for the cause it's more like a family feud..."centuries ago, you massacred us so we will massacre you now" like the Serbs and the Croats the hatred goes beyond faith...unfortunately the only remedy is education and some affluence which you can't deliver in such a atmosphere
an Australian citizen has just recently been rescued from Iraqi kidnappers...he was there to help in the re-construction patience I suppose is really the thing

There's really no rhyme or reason is there? Just very large chips on shoulders and a warped desire for some kind of vengeance or retribution maybe?
Anyway, hows the family, work etc?
Naughty boys
The Mayan Templar Posted Jul 8, 2005
Work is getting busy...hence the abscence, I've in a team now as they were short of people and it's taken me a while to find my feet
Trying to come to grips that Sain may move out in 18 months for Uni and we have to start treating her appropriately
Callum is finding out who his schoolfriends are...his mates are trying to do a "Big Brother" to make his girlfriend unwelcome in the group (she doesn't care about being trendy and it confronts the other girls)
At least it's never dull

Hiya Greg
Am good thanx and yourself?
We've been having to do some work that means we can't log into hootoo so have been off for an hour or so and then it was my lunch break! That's why it took me a while to get back to you

No worries - Jan mentioned having to do transcription (?) work...company identified an untapped resource and a sideline income, eh?
I'm well, looking forward to the w/e...having some friends over Satuday night...
Unpacked yet?
Naughty boys
tsarina Posted Jul 21, 2005
It's to do with a contract we already have with one of the big mobile phone companies over here.....when people register their new phones it's done thro an automated system and then has to be transcribed onto the pc......that's all we have to do but it's long and very tedious and means we have to log out of hootoo
It's our w/e off too but they're forecasting rain (typical huh?) so looks like I'll be rummaging thro the boxes and bags again and trying to get some semblence of order Hope you're Sat night is fun tho

I'm looking forward to Sat...I used to work with the wife and the husband is as nutty as me...and the kids get on as well...girls: horses - boys: xbox
