Monday 17th October.
Was due to come in Wednesday 12th night shift, but Coll's family had problems. Son is divorcing and things got complicated. So stayed off with her.
My birthday Thursday 14th We went out for a meal. Cost £40, couldn't believe it, just the two of us, we won't go there again. Friday we went to a Harvester. Don't really like them, but Coll like's the salads.

Hi Have been given compulsory early retirment on the grounds of redundacy and my last day is March 28th. Will try to get onto H2G2 when I can and try to get a machine that will let me. In the meantime.Good luck and good bye.

I have had the machine at home up graded and so can now go on h2g2 and e mail at home

How's things with you these days and your better half?

Yeah we're fine. Spent 3 weeks in hot dog and hamberger land(USA) last year with her son. We have booked to go into a hotel in Littlecote at Easter for the weekend.
Looking forward to getting a part time job, as I'd go mad sitting at home. Meeting an old writer friend of mine, we once co wrote a play together, ad we're thinking of getting back together now I've the time.
The right knee feel to pieces again in Feb and I had to have it repaired.
Bought an automatic car as the surgeon recommended it. Don't like auto, prefere manual.

Life is pretty much the same for me.......still working in the same place although am working a day shift now. They moved the night shift over to the mother company in Dublin for economic reasons and we were all transferred to other departments and daylight hours!

Still not having much luck in the 'man' department......I really do know how to pick the and .......guess I just have rotten taste or bad judgement ......maybe I'd be better off taking a vow of chastity

Are you not happier working days? I'm sure your son must see more of you. What happened to the cottage? Did you tell me? I have such a lousy memory.
As to your choice in men, I'm sorry I can't comment. I made so many silly mistakes over the wrong type of girl.
