Just popped down for a breakfast. Would you like to know what I've returned with?

In that case I won't.
Worse thing was trying to get a lift down. There are four of them, but only two go down to lower ground where the canteen is. The other two only go to ground floor, so you have to walk, but the only lift I can get is the ones that don't go all the way down, so have to walk. Why is that?

Now let me see ..........shall I ask the audience, phone a friend or take 50/50? Maybe someone up above doesn't like you very much and has decided that you can't get the lift that goes all the way to the bottom? Is someone trying to tell you that you need to take a little more exercise perhaps?

I give in!!! I haven't got a clue why that is

I start flagging at this time of the night and then by the time I get home I'm wide awake and cant get to sleep

You too, huh? Dog wasn't so bad yesterday, woke me at lunchtime, but I took her out, gave her several handfulls of biscuits and she was very good throughout the afternoon. Still it is my last one for a while. So I am fairly lucky there, unlike yourself, on all night long every night. I think the longest time is the last hour, when you're waiting to be relieved by the following shift.

They get very tired staring at the screen all night
I dont actually sleep just kind of doze - always hear if a call comes in!

No problem, thought you'd gone. Finish at 8. I do that, nod off without knowing or intention. I was sitting reading a report, suddenly it fell out of my hand and I had to jerk my head up., It happens.
In case I don't get chance to say ttfm, dont be angry if I just vanish. On Duty Mon Tues and Wed on lates 1130;2130 next week.

Hope you enjoyed the jelly baby thread, it has certainly engenered debate. Thanks for your remarks. You did make a remark to me on here about the reason the babies have flat backs, and flipping them into your mouth. Perhaps you could make that remark on the jelly thread, as it was very funny and original. Something about tiddy winks

I'm working fri sat sun 8pm to 8am but depending how busy it is I might not get online to chat before you finish work

Am off Monday night then back for tues weds, then off again til the following friday! Going away for the w/e so wont be around for a while

Just incase you want to know, in case you are interested. I arrived this morning and had sausage bacon fried bread hash brown fried egg and toast and tea. Lunch time they have honey and orange roasted chicken. Vegetarian bake. Salmon salad. Lasagne. Just thought you'd like to know what the canteen is serving up, that all.

I'm off sick from work right now! Went to docs last week and discovered that blood pressure is dangerously high and he's signed me off work until it's under control again Guess the stress of divorce and trying to sell house has taken it's toll but I really have to be careful and take things easy for a while.

I'll still be looking in here every now and then so please keep posting me messages! Miss our chats

To hear of your problems and hope everything is under control. I have a problem with the left ear, which is not effecting the job, as I'm a sound engineer I'm supposed to have good hearing, so I've told no-one here, just to keep safe until the anti-biorics work.
