She has "YAY!!!" "copyrighted"... and royalties are payed in cheesecakes.
Mostly it doesn't matter unless you're talking with her...

And we finally got some cooling rain down here in Houston. Maybe *all* my grass won't die.
Funny how one month ago we had floods so bad people died but in the month since then not a drop, and heat enough to kill. The weather down here really s**ks!

I think it pretty much s**ks all over the US... either you get too much snow, too little rain, too much rain, or hurricanes. Or tornados. Did I miss anything? I don't know... my area actually gets all of the above except the hurricanes, though being not *too* far from the east cost, we get remnants of hurricanes as lots and lots of rain.
I find it ironic that a few weeks ago I was wondering why summer wasn't as hot as usual-- we didn't put the AC's in the windows till mid-June, and even then rarely ran them. These past few weeks it's been intolerable. And of course, I've been hoping for rain these past few weeks, and I find out the college I'm going to has what's known as monsoon season in September...
This weather goddess thing has gone too far...

Nite Pf.
Amy, I have to say that I kinda liked the weather we had in Ohio. I know it's not perfect, but no place ever is. But it's much better than what we get here in Houston.

Thanks PF... * tossed in his direction as he departs*

I love all you guys, you know that?
Anyway, before I got all sentimental I was gonna talk about the... weather. Er, right. The highlands of Virginia (ie, Blue Ridge/Appalacha) are cool during the summer and not too humid, and very very green. They just get tons of snow in the winter which makes it impossible to travel, and when it rains, it rains buckets.
Yes, that's where I'm going to college. Right in the middle of that area.

It is... though the mountains are practically invisible from the campus, the New River is right at the base across the street. Very homey.
