My Mum and Dad's house can only be reached by steps (80 from below, 40 from above) - a few weeks back my Dad and I had to carry a cast-iron wood-burner stove down. It was the heaviest thing I've ever lifted in my life, let alone moved that sort of distance. You can imagine I was aching in places I didn't even know I had!

the trick is to buy a lighter stove

My parents are having me move into the basement (not bad, there's a nice room down there with a 'net feed!), and moving my sister into my room since I'm going away to uni in a month. The only catch is, the room I'm moving into is my mom's sewing/craft room and she has about a warehouse full of fabric down there which had to be moved first, plus a huge table that we have to take apart to move into another part of the basement. Nothing's all that heavy... but it's so tedious...

PF didn't get forked because he was laughing, TJ! He got forked because he's enjoying our poor, sweet, innocent Amy sink into morass of depravity and corruption ... and that's not nice!
