Where's the party?
Ginger The Feisty Posted Sep 27, 1999
Isn't that story just one of those exaggerated rumours that gets revived every few years? Why is the room still spinning when the party has been over for 2 days? Has anyone heard from Lochangel yet?
Hello!

In reverse order: Hello, yes, because Vestboy is using the room-spinning as some kind of torture, and probably but Wellies won't tell us the real pint pot story so we're making them up.

Hi Ginger, The rooms going round because EV owes me a sledgehammer.
You can email Lochangel at [email protected]
I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. I've tried it and it works.
Mind your head as that light fitting comes round!
*clank*
Sorry!

I have it on good authority that the lovely Ms L may be putting in an appearance this afternoon. She'd probably appreciate it if you could stop spinning the room, Vestie, if it's not too much bother.

I know I would as I had to get up before six this morning to drive back from Surrey and I'm feeling rather queasy.

*crank stops abruptly. Everyone falls over*
There I've stopped. I think I have a parcel to unwrap in the laun(d)erette.

I am in Easy Everything at Victoria and will be here until they chuck my off my station which should be about two pm - I looked so miserable this morning that my step-father bunged me a fiver and drove me to the station! He is so blessed!
I am fine and very very jolly! Did everyone have a nice weekend

Not bad at all... it wasn't all gold, that much is true, but to cut a long story short, I don't need this pressure on.

Does any one understand what EV's last posting meant?

Think men in kilts, frilly shirts and stupid haircuts. Think murderous club owners in Eastenders. Think movies about British Gangsters. Think failed court cases by talentless lead singers.

How can three grown men spend most of a saturday night in a pub discussing Spandau Ballet?
So GTF how was the jacuzzi?
Where's the party?
Ginger The Feisty Posted Sep 27, 1999
The three jacuzzi's, one each night - they were wonderful. The water was warm, the beer was cold, the bubbles were bubbly and it was all very condusive to lots of things including talking about wedding plans. I think we might have to get a jacuzzi when we buy a house.

He's fine. Wonderful as always. You know I used to despise my friends who were smug in coupledom but now I find I am the same! *smug smile* Will email you for a chat when I get a chance!

I look forward to reading it. I have been very remiss in not keeping up with my emails lately - I must write to Garibaldi and Febchurch too!

Look, it was a very important and lucid debate about Spandau Ballet's contribution to popular culture. In fact, let me open the debate up to the members of this forum: Spandau Ballet - great or pants?
