It's Raining in New Hampshire, Today...
Posted Aug 21, 1999
Well, I'm glad I caught Pikachu yesterday, because it's raining today. It is entirely unlikely that any Pokémon will come out now. They'll be in burrows, or in caves, or in trees, or down holes, or underwater in the case of water-type Pokémon. I wonder what electric Pokémon like Electrode or Voltorb. Electrode would probably explode, and Voltorb wouldn't have much to think about if it evolved to Electrode. I don't know. Voltorb is usually mistaken for a Pokéball. I'm glad I haven't done that and gotten zapped. That would hurt a lot. I'm glad I have Pikachu, now. I won't have to worry about getting hurt by wild Pokémon; I'll leave that to Pikachu. I hope he can't read, I might lose his trust, because he's sitting on my shoulder, watching intently ... my cat Ophelia. There is NO way to avoid a black cat crossing one's path with /her/ in the house. Maybe Pikachu understands superstition? Or maybe Pikachu understands the interest cats have in mice? Anyway, this is the longest journal entry I've made so far. Probably the length of a given journal entry is inversely proportional to how much sense it makes. And Pikachu is about to pounce on the cat. Goodbye.
