*RD's manly superheroic slap on the back sends the Dewey Demon sprawling onto the floor*

*NYC climbs out the van and steps over the prostrate DD. He looks down and shakes his head*

[NYC] That door, over there, to the office! Then again, there ARE the two over there to the restrooms.

[Yar] I know: let's just go to the hallways and hold the door open for everyone.

[Keymaker] Right! [opens a door, which now leads to F13649?thread=380857]

*walks through cape billowing*

*Corrupt hops onto the freeway in a beat-up black dump truck with the words MAYHEM, INC. emblazoned on the side in large, sloppy white lettering. ('Hop' is used in entirely the literal sense here.) She follows the swath of destruction, cursing something called "real life" for keeping her from playing a part in it.*

*A lone intact vehicle blocks the freeway near the off-ramp that, it seems, the others must have taken. Corrupt puts on the gas.*

*The third member of the STUMPED repair crew - who was up until this point an unwitting passenger in the rear of the truck - peeks his head out over the cab of the hijacked vehicle. Just as quickly he brings it down again, bracing for impact*

*With a very large explosion, further adding to the mangled state of the road and vehicles therein, the dump truck plows into the car (which had been abandoned by its owner long since). The dump truck flies off the freeway and onto the city streets at a wild tangent, and rams the STUMPED van as it parks itself neatly in front of the building.*

*The henchmen sighs a sigh of relief, glad to be alive on a currently immobile platform. He hops off the back of the truck. NYC turns around from where he was to see Corrupts climbing down from the cab*

[NYC] Corrupt! 'bout TIME you caught up! What took you?

*The henchman who was IN the STUMPED van staggers about in a dazed manner*

Oh, stuff and junk. And some henchmen of yours, but since most of them are still at the mansion, I guess it's no big deal.

*simultaneously notices the doorway and hears the sound of sirens. Probably someone got wind of the freeway mess and sent cops to check it out.*

I think we'd best be moving on now.

*heads in*

*Runs through the door*

*picks himself up and tries to look cool and collected as he walks through the door*
