And once again we have managed to put a forum amongst the top five busiest! Woo-hoo!

... at which point every one sods off and does something more interesting instead ... like goes to see if anyone has asked for help on a crossword on the ask h2g2 forum (big hint).

Greetings All! I'm back now. Glad to see you kept up the good work of rejection and mayhem. I think the jury's still out on the rejection of the good general though Duke. It seems like the home correspondents didn't talk to the foreign correspondents on that one.
So Bill Gates is OK then?

Hiya S the K. Machine broke and I was left stranded. Still who needs the £350 when you can spend it on a few chips and bits of code? I think there may be a few cheap computer manufacturers appearing in the rejection list.

Er, hello. Can I humbly request that I be allowed in the first fifteen, cos I'm new to h2g2 and I don't wanna get kicked out yet, though I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I would include a picture, but I don't want your psychiatrist bills. But I am a very nice person, and you can all be my friends! Ok, I'll get my coat...

Awww, wasn't that cute, Vestie? Nearly made me break out in tears. I say he should pass. Imagine what loads of fun awaits the young newbie inside.

I have been absent these many weeks. I have now returned and demand to be placed in the first 15. And anyone who opposes me should be expelled (or is that expulsed?) from the first 15.
It is time to tremble and cower ... Evil Giraffe has returned!
I am watching you all!

Vestie, I think we have our first denied-with-a-bang client here! Maybe we could put him on the list of the 15 most unwanted?

Ormondroyd Posted Nov 21, 1999
Hi Vestie,
I think I should be in your First 15 because otherwise E Vibenstein's Showbiz XI would be down to 10 life-forms. And at the end of the day, that'd give 'em a mountain to climb.
In other words - howdy team-mate...

*rips cdrom from computer and throws it across the room*
There, I knew I could master simple repairs!
More people lining up... at last.
Simple! Evil G is out - I agree with Duke. You would be like a carbunkle on the face of an old friend.
What? Prince Charles has already said that? I didn't know he knew EG.
Everyone else is in so long as they buy me a drink at Menza@@e's bar.
EG you have the right of appeal. The panel for the appeal will be Duke, EV (ACE) and Leeloo but you'll have to find somewhere else. I won't allow you to darken this door.

Foolish mortal!
The first 15 needs to be a group of disparate individuals, all with grudges and arch-nemeses! Like you and I!
Eject me from the first 15 and I will be forced to challenge you to a match of virtual fisticuffs!
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HAAAAAAAAAAAA-HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

EV, you already are. Prepare for an upcoming fisticuff, what ever sort of thing THAT is...
Oi! You! Evil, long necked animal of the savannah! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a person of doubtly rep, and your personal fragrance leaves a lot to be desired. Be off, foul individual, or I shall have to take measures through proper channels.

Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Dec 1, 1999
What are the proper channels in this case?
The first 15
The Duke of Dunstable Posted Dec 1, 1999
BBC 1, I would have guessed. Put foulness where foulness fits.

Evil Giraffe Posted Dec 1, 1999
And there was me thinking it would have to be the English Channel.

Sid, please, this isn't the Carry On forum - put your "stick" away now!

Bwaaaahahahaaa...Ahem. Well, I broke the stick earlier on, so unless he hasn't found a new stick...
Hey Sid, if you behave, you might actually make it on the list, as opposed to EG. Altough I must confess I never heard of anything sent to a TV-set called "The English Channel". Imaginative name, that. Is it bad? I mean as bad as anything BBC puts out there? I mean, as bad as BBC World?
