I've just read this thread right through and have really enjoyed it. You poor, misguided chaps! Having been a girlfriend numerous times before getting married (twice - not a the same time - I traded the first one in for a younger model) I can say to all you chaps that most of the girls/women I know, indluding myself tend to like the "nice, thoughtful chaps" as mates, but enjoy the challenge of a man that needs "taming". You know, needs to be "broken in", etc!!! Once this has happened though, some girls tend to lose interest and find a new man to work on. I suppose I'm lucky with number two hubbie as he's funny (makes me laugh a lot), slightly wild (he's got a wicked temper, into motorcyles and scuba diving) and he's my best friend. I won't be trading him in and will just get him serviced regularly....

Well, now that my innocence is all cleared up, and Gwennie seems to promise what the whole world does (namely, that eventually the nice guy finishes, even if it's last) I think I'm going to... wait, I'm not sure I know what I'm going to do...

This forum is sort of a sequel to mine, since it takes so long to load right?

Yes, aren't you the popular one? How's the love life going (or maybe not)?
Girlfriends Too
Cybernard Posted Nov 13, 1999
Hey, I'm popular? Wow...
Love life? Well, I'm thinking a lot of a girl who is very beautiful. (In my eyes at least)
Maybe I'll say hi to her tommorow. :`

Definatly say "hi" the next time you see her. Saying "hi" holds absolutely no risk, and there's the chance she'll notice you...

Cyberbard - yes, the sequel! Not sure if I linked it from other forum, as I kept timing-out!
Go on, say 'hi'. It's a friendly but non-commital opener.

Good news 'sus! If you hadn't linked it, none of us would have found this page! So it worked!

Saying "Hi" is good...
Where's my alchohol? Make mine a vodka'n'tonyx! (Please)

Coke and apple cider (60/40) is pretty good... with the right kind of alchohol in I think I'd drink it

Gwennie Posted Nov 14, 1999
One of my girl friends used to drink sweet cider with blackcurrant cordial! Too sweet for me..

My drug of choice is caffiene -- as opposed to alchohal.

Going to a dance stag has never been fun for me, personally. I think the problem you'd encounter is that it'd be hard to hold onto any guy you might meet there for the whole dance. If you found a date now, you'd at least be fairly certain about having someone to dance with. Of course, I'm not a dancer, and if you like just dancing for the sake of dancing, my advice may be totally off. I wouldn't really know.

*mumbles incoherently through buttoned lips* I didn't say anything Irving...
...despite the tempting provocation!

Right, pass the coffee Irving (NOT Irvine - right?) says she, rubbing hands together in anticipation....
Dances - oh wot memories!! I'd go with your mates love - don't tie yourself to a date as you won't be able to sample any delights you may spy whilst there as you'll be committed (unless you can off-load him on one of your unattached friends which is a pretty underhand thing to do). Have a good time but remember to look completely uninterested if/when the slow dances start, make you're way to the loo or somewhere that looks as though it's urgent - don't hang around like a wall flower! If a chap wants to proposition you for a slow dance he can grab you on the way and if you don't like him you have an excuse that you're just on your way somewhere or other. I always found dances/parties rather boring when with a partner (or sober).
