A funny thing happened on the way to the city...

This is not another whinging journal. Honestly. I know it sounds like it, but really I'm laughing. Hysterically smiley - winkeye

I moved in with my dad this week, and as he was driving me home we were talking (as you do) about his ex who he finally (after 10 months) got to move out of his apartment. This ex is a moron with the brain power of a hotdog, some sort of psychological problem, criminal tendancies and a very real drug habit. He recently went through a trial for fraud, and is on the run from cops in another state for some sort of drug-related, put-you-away-for-15-years offence.

The fact that he is gone is great. Brilliant fantastic wonderful and superb.

Unfortunately, he owes his dealer some money, and the only address the dealer knows is my dad's. Dad told me that he'd talked to the dealer and explained that I was moving in, and that he'd appreciate it if he stayed away.

I had to laugh. I'm sure the dealer's going to respect that when he can't find the moron!

So anyway, dad says they don't *usually* kill the clients, just bash them up a bit. I s'pose he doesn't really need his kneecaps after all...smiley - erm Dad's *sure* the dealer won't turn up here, but just in case we have to keep all the doors and windows locked, and we've has a security system installed. I'm only a little bit jumpy...a shelf just fell off the wall and I practically dived under the table!! I have to laugh at the situation - I'm over being annoyed at the moron for doing this to dad, I'm more annoyed at dad for letting it be done to him, if that makes any sense at all!

*going to find something to hit*

It's that time of year again....

...when I've finished uni and will have oodles of time to spend around the guide! smiley - biggrin

I've had the best year - finally uni is what it's meant to be! Fun fun fun and lots of beer...heaps of trips and not much sleep - what more could a girl ask for?

To top it all off I've got an awesome job for summer, and should be raking in the dough (if I can stop myself from spending it smiley - erm) - so I may or may not see you around!!

Minimum Tech

Going on a minimum tech trip today - all we're taking is wool blankets, a sharp knife, and cotton or woolen clothes. All food is grown in the region, and we only have fruit and veg, as well as a whole heap of flour. Nothing to cook with, nothing to sleep on or under - should be awesome! smiley - biggrin
