Understood Jack. I guess the one saving grace is, the further we drop down the league system the less tv time we'll get.

I guess to keep up the cruelty, maybe the Football Gods will make sure we stay in the Premier League after all.

They'll find a way of making sure that every single Arsenal match is live on TV as we head inexorably down through the divisions. You can be sure of that.

My Dad managed a pub opposite Tranmere Rovers for almost 14 years.

One year they were cup tied to play West Ham.

The West Ham supporters' coaches came in early, which meant they headed for the pub before Dad could close the doors. He put a large group out via one door, they went back in through another, only to be put out again. At the next door Dad was there to greet them...

One was heard to say... 'Bloody hell, 'ow many pubs 'as this fella got?'

I could well imagine there is a unclean version involving West Ham supporters.

Jack, ah good, I wouldn't want to have the same treatment that was dished out to you.

I'm not being drawn on that one... Let's just say it included a lot of 'Fs' and stuff, but for the most part they were friendly enough. Dad wouldn't allow large groups in together. Two's and three's were fine, and even better if they had kiddies with them. He knew they would behave then.

I might tell you about Bolton Wanders and the Boxing Day Friendly, one day

When is the move expected to happen?

Some were, Lil. We used to struggle to talking about 'Other Sports' then somewhere like 1xtra had a designated area for random talking but that eventually got closed too.

If we can't all make it over Lil, we'll just have to see what the BBC have left and try posting in there.

My favourite board of all was caled One Life.

Remember it, Mac? A sort of Agony Aunt board. I used to hand out some very sage advice to the people on there.

Mostly I just told them to get drunk, regardless of what their problem was.

I'll have to wait and see about the new board as well. Could well be blocked.
