I didn't bother. If I'd been in work yesterday I might have strolled up to where it was on but as I was off I didn't bother.

And Ireland astonishingly beat Australia in the rugby.

Two out of three over the weekend.

Also, annoyingly I now have the Monday morning blues on a Tuesday.

Just saw the squad for tonight's game. We really are resting people for the relegation six pointer.

Apart from THAT obviously.

Apart from us scoring two goals and turning a sure-fire win in to a desperate loss, Jack? Yes apart from that it was pretty good.

I'd have played more of the first team personally, let's face it they could do with any win. Although having said that, if, somehow we did go out then it would completely destroy them.

We scored five goals and lost 4-3.

The Football Gods really have it in for us, don't they?

I mean, I know they always did but lately they've just been taking the p*ss.

I actually got excited at us winning a game when it was half-time. How stupid am I?

I thought it was obvious something was going to go horribly wrong. We were nine gazillion times better than they were and still only led 2-1.

I wasn't expecting 2 ogs and an offside goal to turn things around though. The Football Gods were obviously working overtime to come up with that one.

"How can we make Arsenal fans suffer more than they already do?".

I have a terrible feeling I know the answer to that one, Mac.

Jack, this is going to continue until we see ourselves in the Conference. Every meeting of the Football Gods around the table will start with someone else entering with a new, morale damaging idea.

I was thinking of starting to support a team in another sport where the FGs can't do any damage. But they've probably got mates amongst the Rugby Gods, Hockey Gods, Baseball Gods and the Gods of whatever kind of sport you mention so there's no escape.

So essentially we might as well stay with Arsenal? This never ends, you're right.

Just leave plenty of room behind your sofa, Mac. That's all I'm saying. Maybe install a fridge and a bed because there's no real point in coming back out. Ever.
