mac, you know why this season will be good for you and bad for united? The last time i was so confident we'd destroy everyone in the league, we didnt win anything for two years.

When was that? I'm sure you've at least won the Carling Cup in that time.

I think we won the carling cup in the third year, not sure now. Either way, it was a disgusting period of time.

You won the FA Cup in 03/04, nothing in 04/05 , Carling Cup in 05/06.

For Man Utd, I suppose it is really. You made up for it in the following three seasons though. Mgrr>

Mac, are you saying you've got no drinking buddies left?

If so, that sucks. But you'll have to do something about it. Hang around in pubs all the time. Meet total strangers. Become their best friend overnight. End the night lying in the gutter with some people you only met two hours previously. Better still, become friendly with some bloke who is an epic alcoholic in the hope that he'll introduce you to his missus and you discover that she's available for extra-curricular actibity and he never finds out because he's not really on this planet.

You know it makes sense.

I suspect Colne is full of epic alcoholics so it might be worth my while.

And yeah for the time being I am drinking buddy-less, although one of them is back this week but he is mainly studying for his piloting exams. I'd have thought it was fairly simple, gain height, maintain height and speed, lower speed, bring it down slowly.

A day is right Jack and he has been studying for months, the fool. You're right though, some people's priorities are completely out of sync.

Mac, if I'm a passenger on a plane I want to know the pilot is a guy who learned how to fly really fast. A natural. A guy who was an instant expert. Not some idiot who took months to learn and then reckons he's a good pilot because he's got a certificate or something.

Not winning anything for a whole season was disgusting. But yes Mac, it just served to make us angry so we went on a winning spree.

Unfortunately Jack, they're training hundreds of them to do exactly the same thing. Everybody will travel by boat again I reckon.
