Oh no-no-no, one mustn't rush EVERYTHING. Baby-steps is the term, I think, that TV talkers like. First is the morning shower ... Then if that is a success, on to something else simple and relatively harmless.
Like a Dinosuar Massage Therapy lounge.

ah yes.. now that was something I could enjoy... that is .. let me first see what the DMT lounge really is

Of course. I mean, if the paint is just not a suitable shade, the drapery a bit bland ... Just no fun at all.
Well, perhaps just not as much.

Staying away from the censor-zone ...
A couple of times, I have paid for full-body massages for milady. Usually accompanied by a manicure and pedicure. Just a day of personal leisure, luxury and pampering for her. She comes home feeling like a packet of melted butter, and simply loving it. She has offered atleast the massage for me, and yet I decline. I don't think that I could truly relax myself enough to allow it to work. And of course, being as near to bare skin as needed, I'd be worried of 'reactions', and the visibility thereof. I guess some 'macho-tough-male-attitudes' will always get in the way of real enjoyments, eh?

I .. verrrrrry recently had a day like that.. up to now I didn't really believe in it, thought it would be for "another type". Now .. melted butter indeed. It's not just the massage.. I think it's the whole lot: pampering, being taken care of, just leisuring away while others make you feel good..
.. Bob doesn't believe in it for himself either.. but from a few of his friends I gathered there are roughly two types of male-massage businesses; the one being the "red light district" variety where the purpose is to get rid of "reactions and the visibility thereof" in a straightforward way (shower afterwards) and the other is fairly certain not to get you anywhere near the stage where you get visible reactions, but rather relaxes and releases muscle tensions.
Massage for males could be slightly different from the female variety... although I didn't get anywhere near the heavy breathing stage .

Perhaps the 'red-light' variety might have had some appeal 25 or so years ago. These days, paying for such services seems a bit desperate somehow.
I suppose the ideal time and method for a guy to go for a massage would be so body weary and fatigued, that nothing BUT rest and relaxation would come to mind?

.. well, I don't really know.. but the main thing seems to be that muscles are flexed and relaxed .. and (as far as I heard) there's as much excitement as there is in a gym

ah .. well, in that case for your information: nobody will ever get excited in a gym.. well.. maybe a few perverts

Some male persons can become 'excited', just talking of the weather. Not that I would know,k of course.
Got any fun stuff for the herd's week-end? Like perhaps taking a novel car-made-of-tree-parts for a drive?

The weekend was .. uneventful .. nothing much really

Our week-end was more spring cleaning, ... the remainder of the kitchen, and the dining room. For us, such cleaning is to freshen or scrub every item in a room, as well as the ceiling, walls and floors. Fun and thrilling stuff, eh?

With just the two of us, and rare company, the house only needs a general cleaning every other week. So in the spring, we get quite meticulous about it. After all, with windows and doors nearly sealed against winter, the place does feel a bit 'stale'.
Of course, I usually suffer for months after.

Well justified, I am sure. A couple of my co-workers have a cleaner in, once a week. They are dual-working families, with a handful of kids each. So it really does make sense, and is not too expensive either. One day, I just may treat the missus to such a service. If I feel like being kind ... and really want something for myself.

Well, I was thinking more of some ultra- toy or tool, rather than some free time. But now that you mention it, that might be nice as well.
