You probably have to anyway. At his age, you are probably just beginning to train him the way that you like. It wouldn't be fair on some other to have to start all over.
Mind, my missus HAS offered to trade me in for a couple of 23-year-olds.

mm.. yes, Bob made a remark about trading me in for two 18 year olds and I thought about the same .. now for some odd reason I thought I could handle two 18 year olds better than he can

Oh, I'm sure that he could make a valiant effort though.
You know, I heard somewhere that multiple women in one home actually develop a common biological "rhythm". I truly pit the Sheik with 14 wives, when a certain phase of the moon arrives.

Has the dust settled again on the manse, after the load of visitors and family? Maybe allowing you a bit of time for a chardonnay soak ...

the dust has settled, the stampede left most of the house in good shape . main worry is the grass now, that has been trampled a bit. ah, in a week or two that will be fine as well
mm.. the chardonnay soak .. .. for a bathing suit

Oh, we are quite informal here ... bathing suits optional.
Your mention of the grass has an old tune in my head, by Red Sovine. http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/i/itllcomeback.shtml

The lead is sung by him, and the chorus is done by his 6 or 7 year old daughter, ... at the time.

That tune is really far better when it's heard than read. And another of his is far more important to me. "Daddy's Girl". By the time she was 3, it was my daughter's favourite song, ... and the one that she and I danced for her wedding.

You really ARE a soft and sentimental 'saurus, aren't you? Lovely.
If you send a proper mailing address sometime, I could perhaps send you a "sample CD" of that chap's tunes. Most are sad, and revolve around driving truck and the folks he meets. Some are simply sweet.

Oh, and I found Red Sovine .. ... yes, mp3 and illegal and actually recognised a lot of it. Some things were translated into Dutch very sentimental good for a soft and sentimental saurus

*begins to wonder if the rhythm and the words would sync as well in any language other than "trucker-USA"*
Did you find 'Daddys girl'? When we danced, I softly sang along, replacing a few words along the way. The poor dear was in tears when it ended. And nearly crushed me with a hug.

His stuff is pretty simple in concept, usually, so they may translate well enough.
Anywhoodle, ... how was your week-end? Quieter than the last one?

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Apr 16, 2007
definitely quieter. Temperatures got to 25~30C. I spent some time in the backyard, being lazy, read several stories and books for the young audience. We found a new way of reading: commenting and discussing the story. Surprising results sometimes I got new viewpoints on at least one traditional fairy tale
