I thought perhaps you referring to another ritualistic time of the day ... The glorious opening of a tin of Red Bull and pouring it down the nearest drain. So that it may never foul any person's bodily-functions and chemistry. Obviously.

Babette - Dinosaure Posted Dec 14, 2006
no, we don't do that.. we have the tin opened in the backyard to keep the cats away .. most of the time it works.. some cats just don't understand

I've been thinking of putting out little dishes with that stuff in it. Skunk and squirrel deterrents, ya know? Squirrels are cute, except when they are uprooting all your new flowers every spring. And the skunks just leave those annoying divots in the grass ...

.. squirrels yes, and cats .. cats keep the squirrel population low, dogs keep the cat population low
no skunks here

We have black squirrels, about half to two-thirds the size of a small house cat. They are daring, bold, and keep the few stray cats away !!!
Would you like a few skunks? I'll happily ship a litter of young, in the spring time. They can grow to know, love, and ... ummmm ... aromify your area.

Sorry, dear, a bit distracted. A young friend seems badly hurt, ... in S.A. ... Waiting for knowledge.

Another occassion when I really wish that I could be less than I am ... Always first with the care and the heart. Ah well, 'tis who and what I am.
Good Lady, I wish you and that little herd of yours a fine week-end. And will perhaps see you about some wires as it goes on. s -a-plenty, for one and all.

Sharing many mutual friends and concerns, things are easy to be seen. Especially when they need to be. But in some circles, I'm seen as either a burden and bother, or actively as a demon to be shunned. So as soon as I can, I try to distance myself. And follow things of worry to me as I can. Crappy, but life as it is.
Raven is such a sweet hearted lad, and yet recklessly foolish. I'm concerned he's pushed his luck and guardian angel (his words) too far ...

oh, come on now.. "burden and bother, or actively as a demon to be shunned", certainly not, well, not the way I see it.
No, definitely not, well, based on the emails and all that I really cannot see it like that. don't see things too somber?

Folks develop opinions, as much coloured by their own perceptions as by their histories and nature. Some friends from here have turned rather sour. Stuff happens, eh?
Somber? Why do I suddenly get a mental image of a small herd of dinos, in sombreros, dancing "La Cuchracha" around a fountain?

hm.. people change .. so do friends.
.. "a small herd of dinos, in sombreros, dancing "La Cuchracha" around a fountain" .. exactly what have you been smoking? ROFL giving up smoking doesn't necessarily mean you have to smoke non-oregano, you know?

Sadly, the giving up of tobacco didn't go well. After barely a week, a scowling missus suggested I find something and light it.
As to the interesting visions, well, that may simply be the air in these really old Air Force buildings. Who knows what stuff is leaching out of the walls by now.

ah, right .. so far for the ban on smoking
.. an interesting point; what if you may live five years longer if you quit smoking, but these five years seem to last fifty?? would that be good?
old air force buildings.. well, they cannot be *that* old.. I'd guess some fifty years maximum to make matters more interesting this would be the time when building companies experimented with alternative products .. to try and build cheaper buildings that looked more expensive ... "Who knows what stuff is leaching out of the walls by now" ... you may be in for some interesting times

The structure that I now work in was built in the very early 1940's, I believe. For several decades, it was the repair and rebuild place for quite a variety of aircraft engines. So as you might expect, a lot of different oils, fuels, paints, solvents and what-ever odd other chemicals were employed here. All will have left some traces of themselves in the concrete floors, the cinder-block walls, even in the wooden planking that is the main structure of the roof.
So yes, any weird or unseemly behaviour, I shall blame it on toxic residues at my place of work.

.. well, what can we say it's certainly a fascinating idea to let the history of a building flow through your mind .. and body .. ..
