Drifting on a sea of forgotten topics...
I'm gonna break the rules and go on-topic.
What's this Newsletter thing then? Will it have puzzles? Weather news? Funnies? I'm all a quiver and the arrows really itch.

Uhm.. Fairly Strange? ... Would you mind pushing that button again, please? These feathers tickle and the bubbles are pretty, but they don't taste a -thing- like choccy.

Oooo The Wisest of all fools is all of a quiver - can this be - the tension rises as a response starts to build between the lips of TV's Frink - Will it be earth shattering - Will it be mundane - Will it be full of turkish delight made in the shape of a soft ball.
Hark I think I can hear tiny footsteps - maybe the Frink is on his way, there again I could be wrong.

Caffine - cor your lucky - My wife makes me drink decaf tea - I'll have a taste of your turkish coffee later (how do you make it) or is it just coffee under a different name - sounds good.

Vegiman, I feel for you. If it were not for caffiene I would be a corpse many times over. I need my coffee first thing in the morning or I'd not make it in to work alive.

Oh, no, not at all. Very different - the coffee grounds are actually put into that water, no filtering; just lots of mud. Delicious, delicious mud. I usually just stick to tea as this stuff is kind of a bug to make, but it keeps you up and sort of delerious all night...you need to boil the water, put the coffee in, put it back on the heat watch it until it foams, take off the heat, stir, put back on the heat, if it foams take back off and stir, put back on the heat, etc....until it doesn't foam, usually 5-6 times in my case, but I'm sure some can get it down to 2 or 3. And it's all in an odd looking pot:

Sort of like that.
It's stronger than expresso.
Wow, Frink, I'm loving this topic drift forum.

Well, not like that, because that messed up. It's sort of like those spill-proof coffee cups. Whoo! Can you tell I've had turkish coffee today? hehe

I think I will stay away from it for a while, if it has that affect on you, what would it do to me.
Well its almost 2.30 am here and I have an early start - so I'll say Goodnight and catcha later

Thanks for the recipe, Fenchurch, I'll have to try that one weekend - or during the week if I'm not meant to be working the next day!
What's the "odd looking pot" actually look like, or could you just do it in a saucepan...?
Caffeine [note spelling] is good, but delerium (not to mention the stomach cramps which have been known to accompany caffeine overdose) is not. Don't get delerious on me here! I have enough trouble coping with that sort of thing at work...!

Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Oct 27, 1999
You're picky about all this spelling business, eh?
I don't think it would work in a pan... and be sure you have turkish coffee grounds, they're extra fine. The pot is sor of triangular, with a very wide flat base, about 4 inches in diameter, the top is maybe 2.5 inches... and it's maybe 4 or 5 inches high. I tin I'll write a guide entry on this... hmmm

Hey everyone! Glad to see you are all enjoying the drifting currents......I've just posted a letter from the editor in the newsletter forum. It should clear up any confusion about *what* the newsletter is exactly. It also contains a little good news about the newsletter's future from Peta.
