just one small request:

CAN EVERBODY STOP BEING SO BLOODY PADANTIC!!!!!

crikey all the questions i've just answered on my forums are about the most stupid little errors. here it is: I AM NOT PERFECT, I WILL NEVER KNOW ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT ELECTRONICS. I just made that article for an introduction to electronic (that is what the piece was originally called) if you have an questions about electronics then feel free to ask the but i will no longer defend my self against these petty remarks.

finally, my genius is recognised

whoohoo, after many months of my entry being lost in the depths of peer editing, it finally re-amerges as a completely different article. thanks to jimi. I suggest people check out it's father article at the bottom of the page. If anybody finds themseleves going oooh, i would really like to know more about electronics i suggest the book that i have been using for the past two years. It's called "Hughes - Electrical Technology" and it's about £22 on amazon.co.uk.

it's the best thing to happen to me all week

hi every(no)body

could you imagine the surprise i got when i found out that my entry got "recommended guide entry" status there are ACE's (no offence intended) that havent got recommended entries.
In my life i'm still working at IBM lugging boxes and fixing computers for the people who create web sites such as vauxhall, HMV and wimbledon (as well as doing all the technology there).
right i'm off to do some more bragging.

a new day, a new dawn, another dollar

Wednesday 19th july 2000

this is my first jounal entry of the year 2000 and over the course of the year that i have had this page i have only spoke to a few people. Some people would probably say this was my fault as i haven't actually gone out looking for people rather just sat here and waited for people to come to me. I can however dismiss this thoery as utter rot as it doesn't work. Just as the no-one of you reading this are all too aware.
cynicism aside since my last entry i have (started and) completed my second year at uni. i passed for all of you that are interested. i am now doing my sandwich year with IBM, which is nice.
my electronics theory page needs to be updated and be approved. i'm a bit narked that i didn't get it approved last time but i was drunk when i wrote it.
so with my ever cynical look at life i would be appreciative if no-one just happened to randomly find my page. if you do see this. . . well make your own mind up about what to do next. i wont be offended if it doesn't involve telling me you were here.
if you were tricked into comming here. GOOD. but please come back i will have something of interest fairly soon.

i hope your souls are saved.

A-hem

This is an apology to the whole one of you who have looked at my page since I opened my account. I amnow going to explain why it has taken me 13 or more weeks to get back on the net. for the first few weeks I was home after coming back from uni I was chilling and on holiday in tenerife and to be perfectly honest I couldn't have give a flying monkeys arse if I had seen another electrical device. Anyway after said chilling out period I only played games on my machine (mainly carmageddon). But soon I decided it was time for my computer to have a software cleanout so I formatted my HHD. The however only got half way through completing before I stoppped it (I was using a system restore pack). this resulted in a unuseable HHD Which I knew how to fix but didn't have the hardware. So it had to go to the bloke who made it. This took approx a week. I then didn't touch my PC for days And when I did I found to my Horror that Windows 98 was on (this is of course the operating system of satan himself as it trys to be far too clever for it's own good and is quite unstable in the process. So I decided to format again this time using the ever reliable method of Dos and boot disk. However this cock-up some Fats and again rendered my HHD unuseable. So it had to go back again. Now it has the wonderful 95 and is running like linford cristie on speed.
Of cause this chain of events lends further proof to my claim of the existance of the god of electronics and the first rule of electronics (any electronic device will only work once perfectly).
For better or worse I am back now and will check this site on a regular basis. Feel free to email me on my talk21 accoumt if you want and tell your friends about me.
