And now, the end is near...

I so, I leave my current job and move on to pastures new. I have no doubt that this will mean many changes. I'm moving house. I'm uprooting and voyaging north into foul weather and unfamiliar terrain. I have new possibilities before me, new horizons... What lies before me is a blank slate, a chance to start afresh and see what the future holds. This may mean a change in the way I write and access H2G2... I think that it may become a more considered evening event than the seat-of-my-pants daytime event it has been.
We shall see.

The Wonder Of Spnizzles

The lowly Spnizzle, or Twisty Tie for the common folk, has found it's niche in the Guide - and of this I am rightly proud. This started as something of an offbeat idea, but has now found a home in a world of offbeat ideas. Of course, there is more to come in this flow of thought - most notably the much anticipated 'Surviving Being Swallowed By A Whale' entry - but this achievement means a great deal to me. Thank you to all the folk in the Towers - and Smiley Ben for the edit.

Hitting A Dry Patch

I'm lost for anything to say, which for me is a genuine concern. I mean, nothing to say at all. Apart from having to sit down and watch a few more episodes of Bagpuss to complete that entry, I'm bereft of ideas on what to do next. Almost finished reading 'Dark Side Of The Sun', but even then that's probably week away from conclusion (slow reader) and then I have to get by thoughts together to write anything.
I can only hope that this is purely writer's block, or something. I have to admit that lately entries have become some what more eccentric in their subject matter - but personally I saw that as something of a good thing.
Only time will tell...

Just thought you needed to know that. It certainly makes me feel a lot better knowing it.
By the way, have you seen the rain outside. Or, more precisely, all the remains of the rain sitting around on the ground. A canal runs just behind where I work and the canalside is currently part of the canal. The wastebins are half-submerged, providing an interesting 'As Much As You Can Scavenge' buffet setup for local vermin.
