Aussie reds, despite what some in Europe say, are the best in the world. But you have to come down to Aus to get it. Like Fosters Paul Hogan and Rolf Harris, we send the stuff we don't like out of the country and keep the best stuff here .

If the stuff you keep is better than the bottle I finished last night you sure *do* make the best red wine in the world, Wb! 
As it is I think Chile, Argentina, Greece, California, Spain and Portugal make very fine reds too, though.

My in-laws went over to England and France, ordered a French red and didn't like it at all. Ordered an reliable Australian red and didn't like it either. Went and saw the Aussie dealer in that particular brand in France (hey... what can I say, they know their stuff ) who whispered that little bit of information into their ear. He was quite embarrassed about the whole deal. LOL
