Speaking of the garage, it's a project now finished with the windows replaced in December and yesterday Gordon fitted the new electric socket to replace the old cracked one attached to a shattered piece of wood which the window fitters left dangling from its live wire...

h5ringer Posted Mar 26, 2012
Was away camping with the Explorers this weekend, so only had one clock to deal with, my camping watch...no wait, there was the car clock when I got back...oh and the central heating clock before I went...

Never mind, it's over now for 6 months
Hey, have you heard about that panda tea to rival Kopi Luwak? (certainly more expensive...)

Long weekend again?

Good morning Maestro!
Why would someone say "I'm not on all fours with respect to this article"? What does it mean?
Thanks,

Long weekend again?

Glad it's not just me
Ooh, ta and
I've been really good ignoring all the in the shops, as my diet/exercise regime is going so well.
Been a strange day, finally thrown Andrew out and am now emptying his bedroom so I can decorate it and move in there myself.
Peace settles

Yes, unfortunately I am now taking flack from daughter #2.
Still had to deal with Mum's errands today of course, strange how children never notice these things.
I bought some wallpaper and paint to cheer myself up (it hasn't worked).

Hey we're both on the FP today. I was wondering where my Metronome entry had got to
Definitely time to celebrate <-- my preference
Happy holidays

a joint then
Had a good time this weekend with the first visit of daughter #2 (most of Saturday afternoon) since Andrew moved out, when I went to show her my new bedroom, her reaction was exactly like the one displayed by homeowners to the TV makeovers she said she was expecting to see his bed/settee/bunk and get the Andrew smell. "...but this is really YOU Mommy!"
Then yesterday there was a BBQ (under a hastily-bought gazebo) at Laura's, to celebrate Karl's birthday. I did tell him that I'd arranged a pageant on the Thames for him, but he didn't seem all that interested

OK, then you would't have heard Peter Kay introduce Sir Paul McCartney as "Paul Winston McCartney" then. I can't find any explanation for it
