It has become very quiet here of late presumably we could get some indication of how much by the site traffic monitor. Are people going or just stopped posting

The question is "what can be done to wake things up a little" some how recruit some new membership.

Well Bob, the sites moderation team are still here?

Of course I'm here as well, in fact I pop in every night for a look around. I've made myself a vow that I'm going to start writing the Snippets again.

After all, I do have the time now, so I have no excuses there, I only hope that the folk who used to read them are still here?

unfortunately it's money (lack of to pay 1 or more programmers ?) After the beeb ripped the "spine" (they're bits) out of hootoo and it was left to Pastey and some others to try and rewrite it all. Time etc plays a bad hand.

Therefore, posts/threads in various forms are now confusing to what can be seen properly
so until hootoo gets a full makeover rewrite - keep plodding on eh

Nothing to share, unfortunately. Just keep being sweet to people, write things, submit to the Post, review in PR... the usual stuff. Being kind goes a really long way, and being interested in people.

Its nice to know that there people looking after things

There are, rest assured. We may not be very talkative on site, but we're here. And the guys running the scouting, sub-editing, creating artwork, and publishing entries, as well as Create and the Post, and the moderators, they're all plodding on, while tech is working to improve all the tools. Me? I'm just hanging out, making the odd announcement and posting now and then. The others are the quiet heroes.

Well that's an eye opener for me, I didn't realise how the site was run, now I have better idea, Goodun

Perhaps a newsletter occasionally would help or even the odd message or two, that would be excellent
