This is where I'm supposed to write some potted history of my life story and reminisce on interesting times, isn't it.
Hmm. No.
Instead here's a few marginally appropriate facts about me that you probably already don't care about.
- I was born on Aug 11th, 1978, meaning that the last total solar eclipse of the second millennium fell on my 21st birthday in 1999. Some people have taken this as a sign that I am the Antichrist. No comment.
- I was on Points of View once, praising the new BBC balloon idents. I did this not because I liked them but because I knew that everyone else hated them, and therefore saying I liked them would certainly get me on air. It worked.
- A Canadian newspaper picked up a comedy Teletubbies article I wrote and put on the Web for a laugh, and purchased one-time reprint rights. The article made page 2. Let it be known that writing and putting stuff on the Internet for your own amusement can pay off.
