Some things in life are free, but you wouldn't trade them for the world
Posted Jan 7, 2000
Like friendship, walks under the moon, the feeling when you get something just right: that dent in the fender pulled, the model conversion looks like you imagined, the water pump works and the mill turns, the 5 layer cake is level and doesn't need doctoring, etc...
Other things like the first time you saw Star Wars, your first true love, your first car, the way the wax feels on your hands. What makes you smile when you think about it?

Cleaned the garage and washed one car, the Avalon. But it was badly scratched, and is in need of paint tough up. Time to break out the airbrush and buffer. Fun fun fun.
I live for this stuff, you know. I am designing some shelves with fold out tables and chests and such for the garage. I don't know if i will get around to doing this, but we shall see.

so first thing i do is clean out the garage, of course. Need space. I think a good car washing or two is in order, depending on how much time i can allot. I still need to be home in time to make dinner for all. I may hear today from the company i used to work for. They need help, and i need a couple of days out of the house.

No one tried to bomb the white house or anything! How uncontraversial. Just the expected explosions of lights and monuments. Perhaps next year!
