The streak continues!!!

Oh well..I've got a bit of bad news..the Los Angeles Fire Dept has charged me over $600.00 for my ambulance trip of 1 mile to a hospital after my fall..

Where the payment shall come from..your guess is as good as mine!!!

fire dept ? ambulance ? I know the ambulance service is private over there, but how the fire brigade in on it, do they have them ?

Ahhh...I should explain:

In Los Angeles the public paramedic/emergency medical service is the responsibility of our respective county and city fire services..the accident occured on city property so the L.A. City personnel were called in.

True..and people tell me that the library should be topping the bill,and I believe them..there's no excuse for the conditions that caused the accident..use a mop for goodness sake!!!

stick with it MS, if the floor was slippy etc - that's on their patch for costs

I am just thankful that it was mostly an embarrassment..I could have really ***ked myself up had I landed on the flat of my back or on my addled skull..*whew* I will have to find some free legal advice somewhere..we'll see.
