Blackheath, London, England
Blackheath is probably the coolest, most happening place to be aroung the millenium. It is next door to Greenwich, is at the beginning of the London marathon, is home to one of the oldest Rugby football clubs ever and is where I live. Shooters Hill runs through it from London down towards Dover (see the start of Dicken's "Tale of Two Cities" for a bit of cultural reference) and has unrivalled views over-looking London's docklands and the Greenwich dome. My church, Blackheath and Charlton Baptist Church, on the corner of Shooters Hill Road and Marlborough Lane, is almost exactly on the one mile mark of the London marathon. I'm sure I could add more, but I'm running late. Maybe later... Jon Edmondson, Blackheath London.Conversations
