Snog-A-Thon's

It's Friday and there is nothing to do all weekend except snuggle down and snog. I love weekends!

Anyone want to sponsor me in this snog-a-thon?

Families

Families - who needs them?
I haven't told my parents about my boyfriends for 12 years (too much pressure to get married) so I kind of expected lots of questions when I told them last week that I had met someone.
One week later I finally get a question which is "How did you meet someone from Surrey any way?" to which I had to lie. Well can you imagine what they'd say if I admitted picking him up on the internet?

Open Air Shakespeare

We went to an open air Shakespeare play on Saturday night. It was A Midsummer Night's Dream and I thought it was truly awful. The first half hour hardly anything of the voices could be heard so I missed most of the plot. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no leg room, the temperature soared under the canvas and at one point it sounded as though the roof would fall down on all of us! Hermis was played by this really tiny tiny woman who had a squeaky voice similar to Queenie in Blackadder II except I don't think it was put on. And Oberon looked like he should be peforming in a very bad magic show!

It was such a shame because other years it has been very good. Anyway we didn't go back in after the interval which I felt very bad about because it must be very disheartening as actors to see lots of your audience leaving during the performance.

On the plus side the pre-show picnic was great and at least Doug got to meet some of my friends and I don't think they scared him too much. They seemed to like him as well although they probably think he is a bit quiet for me. I just think it was daunting meeting 11 of them in one go!

Monday Night -post rounders

Hey everyone - I know I've been quite today but I was ill (very ill) last night so spent the day not doing a lot at all. Glad everyone enjoyed the rounders and I promise I will post photos etc as soon as possible. I have to retire now and continue my recovery!
