I know, I've seen them... but they've all accumulated so many posts (mostly off-topic) that I didn't see a point of posting anything myself.
But it sounds like you've had a good year, in 2007. I hope 2008 will be similarly good.

No worries about posting. I just wanted you to see the anniversary bit, because we were really so pleased with it all. And it's really so rare that I have anything to share with 'the crowd'. Lots happens in our lives, but I'm simply not one for journals about every bumped toe, or novel piece of mail.

I did take a couple of months away, and now am sorta back. Visiting every few days, but without feeling any urgency to post. It's still the one place to be in contact with some friends fairly consistently, so I guess I won't leave entirely. But a lot of the sparkle has faded ...

Oh, umm... I feel kinda bad, because I've been procrastinating replying to your emails. And it's that sort of thing where the longer it's taken me to answer, the more awkward I feel, and therefore the more I tend to put it off. For, err, well, years, looks like. So, just so you know, it's not that I've been trying to ignore you, or something, it's just that I'm an idiot.
