It's difficult scoring, because they were all so good. It comes down to shades of interest/beauty/unique phrases.

Just read and commented on all the stories.
I am impressed guys! Wow. I hope some of you are going to use them as jump offs for longer pieces.
Have you got all your fingers and toes out ready to count Havago?
Do you all want a break now till after xmas?

Aggh! Sorry everyone. I completely lost track of time and have just made it back to the computer after a hectic weekend (daughter back from school, always exciting) to find the scores being posted.
These 100 worders were great and if you forgive me I'd so like to have a go next time. (Or even if it's back to 60 worders again.)
Dammit. I fell asleep last night musing about that Tap.

It's very difficult trying to balance 'grabbed me' with 'well written' isn't it? I've been tinkering with the scores all day - went back to my original 'gut reaction' ones.

I have to say I'm finding ot more and more difficult to distinguish best from worst among the stories. So, all the marks are quite close, but that's the way I saw it. Excellent work people.

Doh! Sorry it’s it took a while, phone calls, and for a while I was waiting for Spidey to post.
I found this really really hard to score. In the end just put it down to the type of story lines. It was the ones I felt were the most original take on the theme, that I gave a higher mark to. Bloody good job by all. To be honest I think you can spot the improvement of people’s work for this particular task, in my humble opinion that is.

Of all the challenges, I found these the hardest to mark - they really were so well-written, original and inspirational and especially with the increased word count and created from the same title. I was torn between persoanl favourites, skill and originality. Bloody good stuff though! I've enjoyed the 'tap' dance!
