so then i'm going to blog anyway, and if you fancy a read and a giggle you can have a read smiley - biggrin

This morning 12 eggs, my new w/chair is working fine, thee bucket of feed on the back of it dos'ent tip it over, been speaking to 5 other parents who on the whole are unhappy about the education system we use, so were trying to find out information about setting up our own school, i have several out buildings which are suitable and can be converted or I buy in a temporary classroom and then the small prob of a teacher/ers which I think can be some of the others as they seem to be unemployed atm! (through no fault of their own, redundncys are rife in our part of the woods atm) also some of the others parents are asking about growing stuff, so i'm sort of helping out there too! best part of the to start as they have to prepare the ground for next year smiley - biggrin Been trying to explain to them about the fiancés of small holdings, you have to have one person in a job then it turns into a profit and workable!

christ i sound like the good life, which it ain't! I thought i was married to a misses but it turns out to be ten aches 3cows 2 pigs 2calfs 27 chickens 1 cockerel 6 geese several ducks 1 tractor, 30 apple trees 30 pear trees, 3 out buildings 1 barn, 1 cider press, a part of a wood (you have to keep warm) grazing rights to the common! phew

The school idea sounds exciting and big and complicated and scary and well worth it.

I was thinking this morning about you and your handsome wheelchair, and that I'm impressed that you manage to do something so much hard physical labour.

Only two pigs? Or don't the piglets count?

well I use my w/chair only when i rurally need to, i can stand ands walk around but sometimes I have probs with me legs and so the use of the chair is nessary! so the tractor and the lanny is used then and the piglets are sort of, well how can one say............. christmas farye sorry they were not good enough to keep to breed on with!

The school thing is really the musses idea and she's has been chatting with her mates about this, as she works and I run the small holding, it was great till the school loomed, nipper was around the place helping out (wink eye) then, the school, then the head mistress, me arriving late, nipper being bored and/or sneaking in the odd chicken/refusing to eat the school lunch (due to "it don't taste right")/ climbing out of windows and visiting the cows or the horse or visiting Ally (landlord of the local) for a chat about "womans things" ???? hey who am I to say whats right there, the bloody school had the bloody cheak to call that truanting hence the reason for the desire to leave the system, which i'm not a great lover of!

Hey - who's counting! smiley - yikes

I was thinking - 6 loaves of bread is a LOT of dough to kneed. Has the wheelchair given you steel biceps or do you use a bread machine?

And yah, boo, sucks to the council! Be careful with that though. Things can get unexpectedly serious.

I was having just a giggle, and yes a bread machine i bought at an auction last year, a resturant went bust and alot of the kitchen stuff was going really cheap like a gas range £200 quid the retail value new was the best part of £6000 and it was only a year old, and also utensils, big stainles steel pots and pans! auctions are good day out!

The council thing started about 3-4 months ago, i'm being flippent but reall i'm taking it seroiusly, but we have had about 20 others parents enquire about a independant school in the village, as they don't like or are not happy with this school we have now!

On the bigger plan, it won't be any time soon, as we have to sort ourselves out and i've been looking into land/buildings and fiance for it, its all quite possible but the local council is not going out of it way, if you see what i mean, but we have two lots of parents who have been involved in this before so with a bit of advice!

I fancy a school with a bit more flexiblity in it, might be more usfull if it fitted in with work times better! also teaching just a bit more taughter, not so fixed by the national cariculm, well lets just say stats are for middle managers who like to see their spread sheets turn green!

oops! sorrry smiley - smiley was starting to bash yer earhole there smiley - laugh
