Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings were lovely, but it was very Meh today. It's clear tonight though.
It's been a pleasant autumn. The most stunning I remember was 2004 (I think it was 2004, it just might have been 2003). 6 weeks of astonishing colour. This one's not been as good, but it's not been bad.

Not bad. The stately home we live in the grounds of has a firework display each year. Last year was very wet, this year was much better. 20 minutes of fireworks, I was impressed. No bonfire though. I mulled some wine and we took a flask with us. Ho Ho. But a bonfire would have been nice.
