Wasn't going to nick 'em, honest I'd have left some dinopennies.
Indeed he did.
Not your floorboards though, eh?
I do remember watching Day of the Triffids when I was little and you could tell when the triffids were coming because they'd bang their roots against their stalks and make odd knocking noises. Odd knocking noises which my sister would then make on my door a very few minutes after I'd turned the light out

My brothers were watching it one night and they kept telling me to go to bed, but I wanted to be one of the bigger boys.
Your sister was evil. Did you get her back by breaking her torches and throwing her in swimming pools?

It is!
You didn't do the torment your little sister thing? I thought that was what big brothers were there for.
My biggest bro' snapped this torch that I was in love with 'cos it was gadgety and attached itself to your book so you could read under the duvet properly. Cried for hours about it.

Just making sure I don't fall over due to malnourishment, I think. I had a weird and wild pizza with every make of shellfish and mollusc known to man on the top of it It took ages.
No to sleepiness! *poke!*

But choccy pudding has all the vitamins and goodness that you need.
Little fishy things.
Why was it wild? Was it rolling down the road and you had to catch it with a spear?

They threw it up in the air and I had to shoot it with a toy bow and arrow. Took me two goes but everybody applauded
Strange places Italian restaurants - just when it might seem that a particular dish is probably rich enough, with all the heavy cheese and pancetta action and it's had as much garlic as it can take, they come up with a good reason to stick a bit more garlic and quails' eggs and truffles in it. Feeling a bit icky now
*sets the pokey alarm for five-minute pokeys*
