Will Mel Goompason be there to bring tea too?
(It didn't take me 20 minutes to think of someone short, honestly. I was sock faffing and channel flicking. )
Today's Horoscope
Trin Tragula Posted Oct 10, 2006
Mel's busy - Johnny Doompa has offered to fill in
Sock faffing? What's involved in that, then? Is it about choosing matching ones or something?
They haven't got cute little buttony over-the-toey bits, have they? That'd certainly be worth a faff!

Hope he gets on with Al Paoompa.
Sock faffing is an old tradition of picking the lumpy fluffy bits out of the sock and creating a small pile of mess around yourself.
I dream of the day when there will be mittens for feet.

Awwwwwwwwww That's so faffy!
I got given a pair of stripey feet gloves for Christmas once, with little toey fingers for each toe.
I didn't like them though When I waggled my toes they were all clothy and odd - it was like they were hands

Need to hoover up.
I've seen those. They look like they'd be uncomfy. You were a monkey?
Bet there's a lot of sock fluff build up in those.
I just sang Dizzy to the cat and made her fall over.

Fafftastic!
I haven't watched Newsnight in a while - I'd forgotten quite how grumpy Jeremy Paxman can be He was doing the full huffing and puffing and eye-rolling all the way through and then he signed off as though he was in a big fumey sulk

Baconlefeets Posted Oct 10, 2006
I saw an interview that he did with Rowling sometime ago. He was a bit grumpy about Potter. Did he do that look of "Oh ... I can't be bothered to talk to you anymore"?

Trin Tragula Posted Oct 10, 2006
Many, many times To be fair, he does save the really big grumps for liars and cheats and despots and so on
