You're just a post tease, that's all...you get me all excited because I see you're online and then you disappear
And once I get my head around time difference I will definitely give you a buzz...!!

Well it's 12:52pm here now...so that makes you what, 17 hours behind us?? Wow...too early in the week to be thinking...
Oh, how are you feeling after a night on the ? Hope you're not hurting too much
...I've never had a hangover in my life so I am the worst person to talk to for a lot of people....
Things here are ok...the harem is coming along nicely, work is a b***h but has always been a b***h, my family is hassling me less than they used to and my mates are all relatively happy and well
And I suppose that's as close to happy as I can get these days
How goes it on your side of the planet then?
How goes it?
Jerk Gently in The USA Posted May 17, 2004
i wonder if thers a place on earth thats 23 hours ahead of me
things are goin pretty well here, the job market still sux, ive been out of work for over a year now
cant last forever though
little over 3months from now ill have my drivers license back.... again
maybe ill get a driving job
Its almost full on summer time here
all the girls are shedding there winter clothes and lookin yummy
How goes it?
tanzen Posted May 17, 2004
I didn't actually think it was possible for there to be anywhere more than 12 hours ahead or behind...apparently there is, though I have no idea how any of it works...
I hope all works out for you soon on the job front...I'd be terrified to be out of a job these days...having said that, I've been in the same cr@ppy job for the last 5 years and for all I know every other job on offer is heaps better than this one......oh well, nature of the beast and all, hey?
I've always preferred winter to summer, but then I suppose I've always been of the opinion that people look better with clothes on anyway
How goes it?
Jerk Gently in The USA Posted May 17, 2004
shoes and socks at least
im of the same opinion about my previous jobs(the ones behind the counter anyway) gotta be somethin better.
Funny thing about time, if u measure it by a sundial, its anytime you want... somewhere.

I have a philosophy that everyone looks good in black jeans and a black t-shirt...unfortunately I look shocking in jeans so I disprove my own theory...so maybe it should be that everyone BUT me looks good in black jeans and a black t-shirt
I don't think I could work behind a counter...I'm just not enough of a people person to be able to deal with so many people so often for such a long period of time...unless it was a book or magic shop, somewhere where I could be happy...
(I don't know if such a place exists though...I mean there are book and magic shops all over....but could I ever really be happy anywhere ??)
But you're right about time...it often becomes a weekend philosophy attached to the 12 o'clock rule...
The 12 o'clock rule is that decent people do not start drinking until after 12pm....
...the weekend philosophy is that it's always after 12pm somewhere in the world...

wish i worked in a comic store or just a book store, used books.
I like the smell of old decaying paper stock
otherwise i prefer a solitary job with minimul public contact, like a lumber jack or somethin. or auto mechanic..just me and the cars.

I have been considering going into a trade (I like the thought of working with my hands), but apart from the fact that I don't like the thought of starting from the bottom again (and getting apprentice wages), I just don't know how anything works...I just like pulling stuff apart

A appreniceship in the fine world of Demolition
sound fun doesnt it?
appretice wages would be a step up from my usual low income positions
Ive been looking into carpentry, i realy like to use the hammer on stuff
i just know i cant live in comfort without some skilled trade.

Ooh...I can't believe you mentioned two of my favourite things in the same post...demolition and hammers.......
I reckon I'd be a good sparky (electrician) but mostly because I don't imagine I could mess it up as much as I could mess up buildings or plumbing, or the like...
...maybe I'll just stay and office b***h for the rest of my life...until my illustrious writing career takes off that is

Jerk Gently in The USA Posted May 17, 2004
explosives are fun to play with
I tried to get an appreticeship in the electical trade but i dont have the algebra needed
speaking of writing, wonder if my Mad article will ever see the front page of HooToo. its been edited and everything
I put a lot of time into it too

I learnt very early on that I shouldn't go near anything that has the possibility of causing serious damage...it's the same reason why I decided to bow out of my study of witchcraft...I'm not a nice enough person to be put in situations where I can hurt people
so, how does it feel to be a published researcher ??

Aren't you precious ...I would write something but there's nothing I really know particularly well enough to submit...so I suppose I'll just float about and ramble incessantly as the desire takes me
Well, it was great to be able to catch up with you again...I will try to keep the time difference in my mind...so don't be overly suprised if one day you do get a call...
In the meantime, all the best and hopefully I'll catch you soon...
