How goes it?

Oh, Christmas was...alright
Got to hang out with the folks...a yank I adopted a feww weeks back also came for the celebrations...he thought I was the black sheep of the family until he realised we're all
And New Year's was slightly catastrophic...but all's well that ends well, right ...I keep promising myself each NYE that everything will work out...and it'll be fun...
...the problem is that other people always want to mess it up ...
(but I did get to the bouncers and the Irish barmen
)
And now it's a whole 'nother year...and it can only get better, right ??

I hear you on that one, son !
I mean, between my family, my friends and my pub...I barely have enough money to maintain the luxurious lifestyle I've grown accustomed to these days!

Every time I go to reply to one of your messages I end up spending 5 minutes staring at your fishbowl...

Jerk Gently in The USA Posted Jan 13, 2004
Hon, thats why I put it there
so you have somethin to look at while typing
(thats if you dont have to look at your fingers while you type like me)
How goes it?
tanzen Posted Jan 13, 2004
I definitely need to watch my fingers while I type...
...I can type quickly if I have to...but touch type? Um...no...
...and the one thing you should know about me is I get distracted easily...so the fish bowl can be very entertaining...but very time-consuming !

...and you don't have to wake up to find your favourite fish dead on the floor...
(painful childhood memories...but that's what you get for calling your fish "butterfly" I suppose...)

Ive had fish before, dont recall whatever became of them
also had gerbles one or two ran away, accidently broke ones tail off trying to keep him from jumping off the table, poor guy, he lived tho.
I've also had a goat once, he ate everything in the backyard then hopped the fence to work on the neighbors yard

You had a GOAT ???
That's so cool...
(I have to say that though...I'm a Capricorn...and born in the year of the goat...although I can't remember the last time I tried to get into the neighbour's garden )
I had two fish...both called butterfly...both thought they could fly...
...we had a few "family pets" (two birds and a cat)...but my family has a knack for getting the strongest, healthiest things...and killing them...
...which I suppose is a good reason to remain single !

my goat was named Saturday, he was born on a saturday
sadly he went to the pound(animal jail) one too many times(3 times) and there he stayed I think they put him to sleep
he was the only big size furry pet I ever had
he was cool tho, played with my ex-stepmothers great dane

We had a cat ages ago...I never really considered myself a cat person...(I am more of a dog fan ) but Oscar was cool...we had about 10 people in the house...but he'd always sleep at the end of my bed...maybe I kicked the least
...since then I've had more appreciation for cats...but I suppose I see more of them around these days...
...besides...I think dogs can sense evil...

Dogs are more likely to assist you
(if they can figure out what you want)
cats just kinda eat food and shed fur
and approach when they want something from you
dogs think anything you do is the best thing ever
and only want to participate
cats are quiet tho, thats nice too

I think they both have there advantages...I've always thought boys are more like dogs and girls are more like cats...boys are more easy going., more likely to do what they're told, easier to get along with, whereas girls are more independant and tend to do what suits them...
...so I have a lot of appreciation for both of them...
