How goes it?

Well, I've been smoking, drinking and an insomniac for years now !
...but I have to wake up early for work...I just can't sleep because my brain hates me ...
How goes it?
Jerk Gently in The USA Posted Jan 23, 2004
Ive been drinkin and smokin for 16 years
dont know how my brain feels about me(probly ignoring me)
but I'll bet it thinks I hate it
How goes it?
tanzen Posted Jan 23, 2004
Well, I've only been at it for about 6 years or so...but I'm a quick learner...
(although I've been having trouble sleeping for about 10 years )
My brain and I have our moments...it's just we run on different clocks...the rest of me accepts the fact that I have to function during sunlight-hours...whereas my brain doesn't wake up until about 1pm and likes to stay up all night...
How goes it?

I can wake up early if needed, like the other day I was up a little before 9am
on the other hand I was up till about 9am a few days ago
I'm an authentic nightowl, dont realy like the sun a lot and wear sun glasses during daytime hours even if the sun isn't out.
(you never know when the sun will make an appearance)
Last night I saw an awesome meteorite!! it lasted a good second and a half or more! It was so bright I noticed it lighting the sky behind me!
I turned in time to see that it was not only bright but colorful
I wonder where it landed

I'm nocturnal by trade, unfortunately "life" won't let me get away with it......if I could get a job from 1pm til 9pm or something life that, that'd be marvy !
The sun and I don't get along...everyone in my family tans...i freckle and burn...usually I'm an ivory colour (with freckles) but now it's summer and I'm more of a dirty beige (with freckles )
Wow, how cool to be in the right place to see that! And you know that, if the people you know start acting funny, they may have been taken over by pod people...
(Whereabouts are you?)

If I hadnt been up so late I woulda totaly missed it
Im in Washington state USA (home of microsoft and boeing)
Ive seen meteors before but not colorful ones,
makes me think it was made of metal maybe.
it was long too, big tail on it

See, there ARE advantages to being a night person !!
Washington? That would be the home of Micky Dolenz from the Monkees, if I'm not much mistaken
(Don't blame me for my mispent youth !)
I don't think I've ever actually seen a meteor...maybe we're just boring down here ?

well, I dont know about monkeys but I know Bruce Lee and Jimmy Hendrix are buried here.
I love the night, its so dark and shiny.
less traffic(less buss service too)
I think I still have the reciept for my mispent youth

When I was at uni (for the one year I went ) I used to finish classes at 7 or 8...then wander the city for a few hours before going home...something so peaceful about walking around at night...
...granted...anyone who would've seen me probably would've crossed the road (I'm not saying I'm a freak, I'm just...ok, maybe I'm a freak )
Well I'm in sunny Melbourne, Victoria, Australia...I have no idea who's buried here, but there's a lof of 'em

I use to look...questionable
Long hair, two fists fulla skull rings, jacket with an anarchy sign and a skull in it. black work boots.
some may have crossed the street but some did so to ask if I wanted pot
I keep the hair short now, to look respectable and not draw the unwanted attention of the cops

I'm not anywhere near what i would consider hardcore...I just like black...and velvet...(especially black velvet )
(sayeth the girl dressed like a hippy )
...but because I am not "normal"...a point that I've never tried to argue ...the people are scared of me...
...personally I think it's marvellous, I've never hurt a person (seriously ) in my life, and I probably won't ever need to because I'm "intimidating" !!

being intimidating is always handy
Ive only hit 2 people in my life but the hit first
my hand has never been the same since. cant lift me pinky
Ive turned down a few offers to hit back, it was the better part of valor. cant trust people that say "sorry, here, you can hit me back"
If I wanna realy hurt someone I can just open my mouth and say something cruel

I'm glad I've never been in a fight...although I honestly believe that I could take on my of the people I've met (including the boys) I think I'd rather not know...
...although last year I did convince a boy to let me beat him up...because I had never been in a fight...and he agreed...because he'd never been hit by a girl...
..I couldn't do it though, how can you fight with someone who just LET'S you?
My problem is if anyone tries to stand over me I become very defensive...which means I've been in the position, a few times, where a fight was imminent...I just find that by smiling and saying "Just try me then, b*tch" very calmly, they walk away...
...there's a lot to be said for playing the psycho card

A line from a White Zombie song...
"I never try anything, I just do it, ...wanna try me?"
Ive been slapped a few time by a girlfriend, it hurt a lot, stinging pain, **ouchy!!!****

Aww puppet !!
I pushed a guy up against a wall once...but I'd held back for months and couldn't deal with it any more...
I learnt the extent of my restraint a few months ago...when one of my girl's friends (whom I didn't like at all) called me an "Abo b*tch" (a derogatory term for Aussie Aboriginals...I'm Aboriginal on my mother's side)...and I didn't hit him....
...the fact that he said the one word that always makes me flinch...and that I never liked him at all...made it all the more suprising that I didn't belt him...
...I guess I just love my mate more than I hated her mate ??

Im still friends with one of the guys that hit me, hes popped me twice!
last time was a round house kick that gave me a black eye for a month
that was last summer
Ive known him for too long to let it get to me, he did offer to let me hit him back the first time
second time I kinda deserved it, we were campin and I threw a stick with a pig nose(doggy treat) on it at him. it hit him in the mouth.
dont know why I did it, was realy drunk I guess...oops
Hes not realy very nice to his girlfriend, feel bad for her but she has a few shortcomings herself

tanzen Posted Jan 23, 2004
I hate to have to admit it...but there are just some people in the world who need to be hit...it's the only way they understand that what they've done is unacceptable...
And, um...it sounds like you're one of those people
