I I had a psychic moment yesterday and began making him a batch of mince pies.

If we make some sub-standard sandwiches as well, that should make up for it, I think.

I've got some Hula Hoops

McWhirter likes Hula Hoops. Says so here, on page 132 of Roy Castle's autobiography:
