as my mother would say(it will either come out right in the wash,or bung the spindryer)this refered to the old washouse way of washing and dying clothes.loljim

with you on that Jim, the house where I spent my err! youth, had an outhouse which was a wash house, complete with sandstone large sink and dolly tub still there, including plungerthose were the days

if i remeber right, it was ripped up papers on peices of string we used, never had toilet paper then, mother would say, read the news now flush it lol.

torch we had, before U2 batteries etc, was one of those bloody big square batteries, needed 2 hands to carry it

had another eventfull day.

i went to the library to sort something for my mate next door, then went for the washing as i said.
-
i always stop off at a shoeshop outside the interchange and spend a bit of time with ray that owns it.

then i get the bus home,normal evryday rutine.
-
but on the way back on the bus, about 4 stops from home, about 4-30pm, we heard a big bang on the back of the bus, some pratt had hit the back,side window and broke it.
-
so me with two bags of washing,had to walk over half a mile to get home, as the driver was told to return to the depot.

it was reported on telly, the other day, that stone throwing at fire engines/ambulances and buses is on the increase all over

think it was a spare of the moment, someone trying to act clever,there was about 6 walking along on the otherside of the road as we came off the corner onto the main road to my estate.

needless to say, after one threw at the window, they all dissapeared down a dirt track along side of the the local bakery.

no luck this time on the three and four picks i did,only one number twice,out of 3 of each.

its cold and frosty my end,bbbrr, still winter, but i have my heating so im cosy and warm jim.

What a coincidence Jim, my friend is a driver on our local bus service and yesterday, the same thing, brick through upstairs window, also back to depot.
Because they see it in such as err! riot areas, they copy and it will get out of hand all over

Hi Jim,Prof.,seems to me they'll be replacing buses with armoured tanks soon ! The birch is a good idea Prof.I hear the Russians are sending us snow,winds and freezing cold weather this week ! yesterday my main phone, with all my auto numbers went kaput.

its a good thing i have an electronic address book with the numbers in.

later today i,ll be off to town,probably argos, to get a new phone.at the mo im using the old wall type i have in the bedroom usually.

well at least i have something to spend a few bob on,instead of it sitting in a bank account lol.
