hope someone is still out there, hi prof sorry my pc as been a bit temeramental in the last few weeks, as telewest is upgrading the systems still waiting for the extra 1 and half megs are lowing down, ive also lost the control on my active sound on both hand remote and k.board, the remote they can replay with the new stle but the k,board nothing i or they vcan do, so i hoping that i get the upgrade soon then my pc wont take so long to load.jimbob

sorry for the delay, my computer went haywire last week and had to re-install XP, made me lose everything, so its start from scratch. Lost all email stuff and book marked sites etc

the first link i got to was the bbc one, so i tryed it and it worked,took three trys to acsess my space but got here.

i,ll be around daily now as my pc as died, until i can sort it, i,ll have to wait till the pc shop opens and see if it can be fixed.

i tryed the debugg thing and got a message,

file systems32/ntoskrnl.exe,is missing or corupted, and needs replacing,

but as i cant get the disc to reformat im up the creek for noe,jim

cutting a long story short Jim, I think mine could do with a professional to overhaul it, back down to money as per

still no luck getting the ex disc to let me reformat,if i could it would mean trying to reset all the things i had and the links.

but at least i could have my pc working, but its not having it, ive tryed evrything over and over as it said but it wont let me on windows even in safe mode,so i cant see whats caused the stop.

at least i still have the active, but i have no idea who was on my emails on pc,as like an idiot i didnt keep a off line list.

well it looks like it could be wednesday till i can even try to get it sorted, if it can that is,jim
