Well I THINK it's following directions. The surgeon just said to walk on it normally. I went to stay with friends once when I still had an oozy skingraft and couldn't put one foot on the floor and I went loads of places!
Besides...I'm ALWAYS down! Mam keeps telling me off for being in bed all day because I'm 'not actually ill'. She needs to make her mind up! Half the time she says I'm depressed and mentally ill and it's serious, and other times she says I need to fight it and do as much as possible, and other times she says I'm not ill

Good you are doing OK by the doctors by moving that much
Sorry your Mum is giving confusing messages that has to be irritating. This has been a long road for you both.
I will hope you heal quickly and can be entertained by something in the meantime

Ooh hey hey remember I said that the skin had burst on my ankle? Well the flesh has come through rather grossly and it's all spongy and...urgh 
It HAS stopped bleeding though...but still it's SOOOOO gross.
Also...if I'm staying with friends right, and don't plan to do all THAT much but need to spring for say a meal out once a week for two people and a trip once a fortnight or something for me...how much should I make my daily allowance in Seattle? Currently I appear to only to able to afford $10 a day

Actually it's healing up a bit now I think. It's not oozing neraly as much and since I've stopped poking it I've been able to forget quite how spongy and yucky it is...a bit.
However...there's still random bump bits down my shin which suggest to me that my leg isn't knitting and I won't be allowed to go to American and

No...but on H2G2 I have gaint three headed puppies for sale that do stuff ang they cost a big bag of gold (need more gold to stare at and gaze at in the dragonic way)......nobody heard my thoughts right....*becomes paranoid enough to kill*
