This is my intro:
I read the Hitchhiker's books just a year ago and stumbled upon the h2g2 website soon after, and was thoroughly impressed with it . Then, somehow, I forgot about it, and only just recently discovered it again. Anyway, I used to enjoy writing, but then I fell out of the habit and I haven't done much writing in a long time. I'd like to fall back into the habit and this place looks like a good way to do it.
The rest of this will probably be quite boring, so you would be much better off not reading it. But...if you are still reading, here's a little bit of info about me: I'm currently a student and will probably be a student for a very, very long time, since I don't really have much of an idea what I want to do yet. I'd rather not say what degree I'm working towards, because I actually know very little about the area I'm studying (though I still manage, somehow, to get okay grades) and would rather not have people know how ignorant I actually am on this subject . My interests are basically just reading (fiction), watching good movies (The Lord of the Rings!)/tv shows, drinking , eating good food (!), and occasionally I make crafts/artsy things.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
