Hiya,
Yeah, James did come to visit me despite having glandular fever so I'm probably gonna get that now but nevermind. T'was a good weekend though. It's funny you called him Jimbo cos that's what the guys he lives with call him! Sounds stupid to me though lol! I didn't ask him whether he preferred his campus or mine, but I might do now!
I've just given in an assignment that was really really hard and was seriously stressing me out, so I'm in a much better mood now than I was earlier! Which can only be good. And we've put coloured fairy lights up in our kitchen which is nice. I love Christmas.
Anyway, gotta go make something to eat cos I haven't had a proper lunch yet and I'm starving. Hope you get well soon

His name is James... what else is anyone going to call him. All the Jameseses I know are Jimbos. Jimbo the Bimbo.
Anyway, good to hear you are out from under the weather. Just keep repeating, "This too shall pass." Well, not in the sense of pass/fail, but... well, actually, I guess that would work too. Swerve.
Anyway, who doesn't love Christmas? Gotta go eat as well. Dinnertime! ...or something.
L8r!
Elementary, my dear Alison!

Scrooge? Why would you call him Scrooge? He not a big fan of Chr...oh. Ebeneezer. Gotcha.
Well, let's see. When you get an hour of sleep a night (or day) the mind tends to wander. I entertained the thought, several weeks ago, of playing guitar. Looking up various articles brought me to one authored by a Mr. James Gruber. Who had, in his personal space compared a good friend of his on the same level as a Yamaha 5 bass. A link lead me to you.
I can only say that you must be VERY special to him. ...bass.
I guess it's just the fact that I'm nosey and have a good memory. At times...
Elementary, my dear Alison!
Alison (ACE) Posted Nov 14, 2003
Wow, that's pretty impressive!
Yeah you're right, it probably does mean quite a lot if he's comparing me to his bass. He's a bit obsessed. With the bass I mean....!
Lol, Ali

Well, every superhero has a weakness.
...Last I checked it's still an 8 hour difference, so what are you doing home at midnight on a Friday?? Did you get sick, then? Hope not. ...
Elementary, my dear Alison!

Well I was going to go out tonight because there was a campus bar crawl with the theme of tarts and vicars! But when it came down to it we didn't feel like dressing up and getting drunk (it's cold and raining - not good weather to be dressed up like a tart in!) So we decided to stay in and watch films instead. It was fun! But no I'm not sick... not yet anyway!

You people mystify me! Why would anyone want to dress up like a pastry? And who let's the weather stand in the way of getting drunk? What kind of culture are you? Anyway, whatever. Glad you had fun being, not-a-tart. ?

Are you just being silly to be funny or do you *actually* not know what I mean by a tart?!

Okay, okay. Just being a goof.
I've seen enough British TV and movies to somewhat follow you.
It's just that that term isn't exactly common usage stateside...

Yeah, something like that. ..actually I'm not too sure what a vicar is. Assuming opposite of tart. The not-a-pastry kind. ish.
Anyway, it still raining over there? Better be! It's Saturday, kid. No excuse to be indoors. Have anything planned?

Lol! A vicar is like a priest, y'know with the dog collar and everything? But you knew that didn't you?!
No it's not still raining, in fact it's actually quite nice here today. Well it looks nice anyway, it might be absolutely freezing. I haven't been out.
I don't have anything planned yet, how about you?

A...priest? Hmm. ...priest. Vicar. Oh. ....well, then...
...what's a tart?
I was thinking he might wear a dog collar, but in a different reaction to tart.
As for me, staying in today. *umm, yes...it's raining...I just... OK. Not Raining. But there's a football ga*
An American football game on. Several, in fact, but ASU is on against WSU. The Swedish Bikini team couldn't drag me away from the TV. ...they'd be watching it with me.
Stocked up on drinks and munchies. Just been doing some more writing until it comes on.
Take it easy!

Um, a tart is like a slut or a prostitute y'know? That kind of idea anyways! So... I guess kinda the opposite to a vicar really!!
Okay, my turn to sound dumb now: So who are ASU and WSU then? Well I hope you had a good afternoon anyway.
I ended up doing my ironing and then going swimming with one of my flatmates. Haven't done any work today! But hey. I'll do some tomorrow... or so I say anyway....
Lol, Ali

NuclearConfusion -Not a lot of money in the revenge business Posted Nov 16, 2003
Ok. Thought so, but what with a vicar being a priest, couldn't quite be sure. Too bad it rained... I'm sure you'd make a convincing... priest.
Anyway, ASU is Arizona State. WSU = Washington State (# 10). Two teams I follow. College ball.
Right now Louisiana State (#3) is beating Alabama.
Work tomorrow...but tomorrow is Sunday! Are you sure you didn't come down with something??
Whatever. Take it easy!!

What's your title mean?
Yes I realise tomorrow is Sunday, but having not done any work today I feel working tomorrow is justified!
Do you know what word I love? (Other than globule, of course) Haphazard! What a cool word! Sorry, that thought just occured to me...
Take care,

Hmm? Sorry, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is on. Preoccupied.
Anyway, Nuclearconfusion is an attempt to be clever. Basically. Nuclear Fission is possible, I used it every day for years. Splitting of atoms. Fusion is, at this time, not possible. Fusing of atoms. So con-fusion would be the opposite of fusion, or fission. And it sounds like confusion, which is a normal state of mind for me.
And it's the name I use in everything, e-mail, etc., so I don't have to remember a thousand different ones. Being lazy and confused, a good idea.
So, haphazard. Great. Can't say I'm a fan, really. I like palindromes, myself. Radar. Racecar. My favorite is probably Kayak. I can never figure out why palindrome doesn't spell the same thing backwards, though... emordnilap? What the heck!?
Anyway, don't give in! Sunday is yours! Unless you have a big paper, or something. You know how it goes.

Hmmmm no, I meant the title you gave to the conversation. Pac-10 or something? What was that all about?!
I don't know why I like the word haphazard. Just something about the way it sounds when you say it. Maybe it's the alliteration thing, I dunno. Yeah, I can see the attraction with palindromes. They're pretty cool. Like Hannah. That's probably the only reason I like that name. Although, still doesn't mean I like Anna. Go figure.
No, I don't have a big paper due or anything, just feel like I ought to do something y'know? Although at this rate I'll probably end up sleeping most of tomorrow. Gees, it's nearly 3am!
