h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Greetings one and all. I hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish that all your fondest wishes come true this year.

For me I feel this past year has been one of ups and downs. I said goodbye to my ex in the spring and got myself a new man in the fall. Bagged myself a teaching qualification and put my ball shoes on and had a blast with Samba and Ceroc. Moved out of my parents house and then said goodbye to a job I held down for a year and a half despite being bullied. Oh and I still remain a budding writer....writing not only for here be it less and less these days though but also for another internet and writing friendly place So I'm branching out leaving a bit of me here and there. The only thing I should really do though in that process is to make sure I finish my pieces off. I've still a couple of full blown Entries I'd like to write too for here as well as tie up the hair and moomin stuff. I'll get there though.

Opti, that's sounds like a New Year and a New Beginning. with it all. Glad you enjoyed Ceroc, both my sons do it and love it, though working hours get in the way sometimes.

what/who will you be teaching ?

Hi peeps nice to hear from you all

I'm feeling like I have fans and this is where I get my fan mail

where to write, well this site is a fantastic place to hone your writing skills, then there's Second Life and Word Press. I also have a number of magazines some of them specifically on writing, which I intend to read at some point. I've also noticed that libraries hold competitions as do other places which often create leaflets advertising them and they tend to appear in libraries etc too. I guess what I'm suggesting is nothing ventured nothing gained and dont put all your eggs in one basket.

If I use my TEFL I will be teaching foreigners anywhere in the world. I guess I use the word if as there are so many things I could do with my life. I'm like a child in a sweet shop there's so much I see I like I'm getting kind of confused.

Another job for instance could be dance teacher or perhaps teaching assistant or read for a living ...don't know where to look to get jobs like that though.

I occasionally teach TEFL as well . I usually do this in the school holidays when I (obviously) can't do Supply Teaching.
