S'alright, I didn't mean literally. I just don't like anyone being so upset by the behaviour of another person that they want to leave, and I am more than happy to be the one who tells people they are being mean/rude if it helps anyone who doesn't like confrontation.

How to deal with people being nasty onsite whilst avoiding direct confrontation... if only we had official channels to do that through...

Well, it seems I cannot do right for wrong, so as of this minute I resign from all my volunteer jobs. That includes the Post.

Please don't leave, it was you, Vip and lil that got me into h2g2, and you do so well in all your jobs

And i guarantee, if we could poll everyone on the board you would do nothing but right from wrong!!!

Mr D: I know there are official channels, but some people get so worked up and put upon by official channels when a simple 'shut up you're being an arse' can make the point. I do take your point, though.

Bel: I wonder if you are letting something small get to you disproportionately (that said: I have no idea specifically what/who has upset you) but I have to agree that if you feel being here is having a detrimental effect on you personally then step back but know you will be missed by many.

Gnomon, I need a break. I cannot go on to be a volunteer, and I cannot talk about it in the open, as that would be against the code of conduct.

Bel, I think everyone should take a break from the volunteering schemes at times. If nothing else it helps you come back to them with a fresh eye.

It certainly sounds as if a break would do you good.
